'Our Town'

Knoch High performs classic Wilder drama

JEFFERSON TWP — Knoch High School is presenting Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” Friday and Saturday.

Students will stage the play at 7:30 p.m.Friday and Saturday in the high school auditorium.

“Our Town” takes place over 13 years in Grover’s Corners, N.H., and follows the lives of Emily Webb and George Gibbs as they graduate from high school, fall in love and marry.

“Our Town” has celebrated 75 years of productions since its Pulitzer Prize-winning debut in 1938.

Student participants include: Samantha Kravits, Jacob Breslawski, Phoenix Kelly, Sam Govan, Lucy Knappenberger, Emily Zappi, Matthew Mellish, Gracie Smith, Max McAuley, Grant Yurisic, Mackenzie Matlack, Montana Simpson, Jason Altman, Melanie Allan, Victory Michalski, Christian Cendrowski, Maryann Steinmiller, Shelby Antoszyk, Brooke Casey, Stephanie Kaltenbaugh and Jacob Wirginis.
