NEW YORK — Billie Jean King and Elton John will coach a tennis event at Royal Albert Hall in London, featuring Tim Henman and Andy Roddick.

King's annual World Team Tennis Smash Hits will be held Dec. 7 and benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. WTT announced the full rosters on Tuesday.

Team Billie Jean will be led by Henman and Kim Clijsters, Sabine Lisicki and Jamie Murray, who replaces the injured Greg Rusedski.

Team Sir Elton will feature Roddick, John McEnroe, Martina Hingis and Heather Watson.

Among the expected matchups will be McEnroe and Roddick vs. Henman and Murray in doubles.

The evening will close with a set between Roddick and Henman.

A judge Tuesday granted a motion to indefinitely delay a double-murder trial for Aaron Hernandez scheduled for next May, although the former Patriots star still faces trial on another charge of murder early next year.Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley, said the judge granted a motion by Hernandez's attorney to continue the trial Tuesday, but did not set a date for a new trial. Hernandez was scheduled to begin trial for allegedly killing Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado on May 28.Prosecutors say Hernandez “stalked and ambushed” 'the victims after one of them bumped into Hernandez at a nightclub causing him to spill his drink on the night of July 16, 2012.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The Vancouver Canucks honored late coach Pat Quinn in a pregame ceremony on Tuesday night.A moment of silence was held for Quinn before the Canucks hosted the New Jersey Devils. A video tribute was played while Mark Donnelly sang “Danny Boy.”Canucks players wore “PQ” decals on their helmets that will remain for the rest of the season.Quinn, who Sunday at 71 following a long illness, was a defenseman with the original Canucks team that entered the NHL in the 1970-71 season.He later served as team president, general manager and coach between the late-1980s and late-1990s. Quinn guided the Canucks to Game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup finals against the New York Rangers.
