Mars, SRHS girls to meet in finals

Mars and Slippery Rock will meet in the finals of the Slippery Rock Tip-Off Tournament Saturday.

The Planets advanced by making seven 3-pointers in a 71-49 win over California.

Sara Getsy (16 points) and Nicole McCloud (14) both scored in double figures for Mars.

The Rockets advanced to the finals with a 73-13 win over Valley.

Marissa Siebka scores a game-high 16 points for Slippery Rock.
