GC girls still perfect

Brenna Deyarmin scored 20 points as the Grove City High girls basketball team rolled to a 69-26 win at Mercer Saturday.

Jordyn Wyllie added 18 points and Alexis Deyarmin 17 in the rout that kept the Eagles (4-0) undefeated this season.

Caleb Baxter (138 pounds), Tom Greaves (170) and Nick Roth (182) each won titles for Butler at the 10th annual Doc Phillips JV Tournament at Butler Saturday.

Other placers for the Golden Tornado in the 25- team, 282-wrestler tournament were: Sam Dietrich (120), second place; Donovan Malovich (145), second place; Seth McCrea (220), second place; Levi Spohn (145), fourth place; Dave Dimun (152), fourth place; Eli Hartung (195), fourth place; Jack Lex (170), fourth place.
