6:22 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Alan T. Wild, 55, of Valencia crashed along the General Richard Butler bridge. Police said icy conditions caused Wild's car to hit the center median.5:11 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Linda S. Solman, 51, of East Brady crashed along the General Richard Butler bridge. Police said Solman lost control of her car due to icy conditions and struck the concrete railing. Solmna suffered minor injuries.

9:15 a.m. Wednesday — Christina Zarnick, 30, of Butler was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after she allegedly used a friend's car without permission.Officers found Zarnick and the vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard.8:21 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Anthony Gregory, 78, of Butler collided with a car driven by Johanna R. Maciel, 30, of Butler when Gregory was entering Freeport Road from a driveway.Gregory was cited for a traffic violation.2:47 p.m. Tuesday — Mark Michelotti, 53, of Slippery Rock was charged with retail theft and possessing an instrument of crime after he allegedly attempted to steal $326 worth of merchandise from Walmart. Police said security watched Michelotti cut open 11 items.

1:42 p.m. Thursday — Police said a car driven by John F. Truver, 53, of McMurray, Washington County, side swiped a tractor-trailer driven by Jayson R. Aberegg, 42, of Scottdale, Westmoreland County, on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Truver was cited for a traffic lane violation.

8:42 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Megan E. McCune, 21, of Harrisville was struck by a tractor-trailer driven by Ronald E. Snyder, 55, of Fredonia, Mercer County, as the rig was attempting to pull onto Mercer-New Wilmington Road in Wilmington Township, Mercer County.Police said Snyder was entering the road from a driveway when he struck the passenger side of McCune's car. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.Snyder was cited for a traffic violation.
