Michael C. Kiefer

Michael C. Kiefer, 57, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Clearfield Township, passed away Monday morning at Manor Care of North Hills.

Born on April 20, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Hubert J. and Evelyn Genevieve Gray Kiefer.

Mike had been a mental health coordinator at the Center for Community Resources at Torrance State Hospital.

Surviving are his three daughters, Angela Sue Holsoppele and her husband, Dr. Richard, of Bristo, Okla., Karin Lynn Kiefer of Cranberry Township, and Elizabeth Steele and her husband, Nathan, of Cranberry Township; his five grandchildren; his three sisters, Cynthia Ann Smith of Penn Hills, Rose Marie Wirtz and her husband, Allen, of Callery, and Barbara McCormick and her husband, Jeff, of Mars, and his nieces and nephews.

Kiefer — Graveside services for Michael C. Kiefer, who died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, were at Mars Cemetery, Adams Township, with the Rev. Jeff Lawther officiating.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Arrangements were under the direction of the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Mars.Condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
