CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:

Randall L. Halstead Jr., 21, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Dec. 2.

Walter J. Kowalski, 47, of Brackenridge, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of unsworn falsification to authorities, filed Oct. 22.

John B. Best, 25, of Chicora pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and driving during suspension, filed Oct. 28.

Dennis L. Shay, 53, of Evans City waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages, filed Nov. 13.
