Harold C. 'Tex' Niggel

Harold C. “Tex” Niggel, 78, formerly of North Washington Street, passed away on Dec. 20 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 10, 1936, in Butler, he was a son of the late H. Carl Niggel and Estella J. Ketterer Niggel.

Tex attended Butler High School and was a member of the St. Paul Church.

Surviving are his brother, David (Susan) Niggel of East Petersburg; his sisters, Patricia (Daniel) Coyle Sr. and Elizabeth Jean (Ralph) Pincek, all of Butler, and his numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, LaWanda Hockenberry.

Niggel — A Mass of Christian burial for Harold C. “Tex” Niggel, who passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Inurnment will be in St. Peter's Parish Cemetery.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul's Church.Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler.For more information or to leave an online condolence, please visit www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
