Phyllis L. Yute
Phyllis L. Yute, 68, of Mars passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born on April 27, 1946, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Phyllis Stewart Roberts.
Phyllis worked in customer service for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and previously worked for 25 years as a mailing supervisor for the Material Research Society in Wexford.
She enjoyed playing the slots at the Meadows and Mountaineer Casinos and playing her numbers at Planet Mart. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Surviving are her husband, Victor J. Yute, who she married on Oct. 30, 1965; her children, Jeanne Darrell (Chuck) of Mars, Colleen Blair (Mark Pollick) of Gilpin Township and Victor Yute (Jodi) of Sarver; her grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley), Tyler, Kolby, Abbey, Ethan, Lee (Courtney), Kaycee and Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Gavin and Miley; her sister, Gloria Montgomery (Robert) of Saxonburg; her brothers, Robert Roberts of Sarver, Ronald Roberts (Sandra) of Lower Burrell and Gary Roberts (Vicki) of Saxonburg; and her nieces and nephews. Phyllis was also the guardian of Jacob Ferragonio.
