County to return $49,000 from sale of Sunnyview
In the end, it appears Butler County will give back only about $49,000 of the $20.4 million from the sale of the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
In the original sales exchange, Investment 360 of New Jersey last May paid the county based on estimates in a number of variables related to the sale, including how many uncollected bills were outstanding for patient care.
“They owed us some money; we owed them some money,” county solicitor Mike English said during the county commissioner Monday meeting. “This is a final wrap up.”
The reconciliation agreement already was signed by commissioner Chairman Bill McCarrier and dated Jan. 21.
However, the commissioners will vote Wednesday on a ratification of the document.
