Ann Jones, 84, of Middlesex Township passed away Friday in the presence of her loving family.

Born on Aug. 31, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bertha Carter Jones.

Ms. Jones was a certified nurse's aide, working in nursing homes in Ohio and at St. John Lutheran Care Center in Mars.

She attended the Glade Run Church and was a member of the Woman's Club of Butler County. She enjoyed helping prepare food for Meals on Wheels.

She was the beloved mother of her daughter, Leanne (William) Rakers of Gibsonia, and her son, Larry (Nancy) Brubaker of Olympia, Wash.; beloved grandmother of Shannon Giguere, Lindsay Rakers and Samantha Brubaker; and beloved great-grandmother of Owen and Eli Giguere.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Brubaker.
