Jack Grady

Jack H. Grady Jr., 74, of Penn Township passed away Saturday morning at Shelbourne Personal Care in Penn Township.

Born on April 24, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Jack H. and Elizabeth B. DeMarco Grady Sr.

Jack was an electrician for Western Electric in East Liberty for 22 years and later worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Sheraton North. He was also a co-owner of Grady's Fine Chocolates in Mars.

He was a member of St. Kilian Church and served in the U.S. Army during peacetime after the Korean War.

Surviving are his four sons, Jack A. Grady (Heidi) of Cheswick, Stephen Grady (Denise) of East Butler, Alan Grady (Laurie) of Renfrew, and Daniel Grady (Nicole) of Mars; his grandchildren, Shawn (Ashleen), Leah, Nathan, Ryan, Jacob, Johnathan, and Seth; his sister, Elizabeth J. Hoss of Amherst, Ohio, and his former wife, Carol.

Grady— The friends of Jack H. Grady Jr., who passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to blessing services at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev.
