E. Ruth Rudolph, 89, of Butler passed away at 4:50 p.m. Friday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

E. Ruth was born on July 6, 1925, in Mars. She was the daughter of the late Harvey D. Carothers and Marie C. Nehus Carothers.

She was of the Catholic faith.

E. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Marlene Albert of North Carolina and Kathy (Randy) Snyder of Clarion; her three sons, Michael Rudolph Jr. of Butler, Richard (Erla) Rudolph of Slippery Rock and Mark (Terri) Rudolph of Butler; her nine grandchildren; and her 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Donna (David) Walker of Slippery Rock.

In addition to her parents, E. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rudolph, who died on July 13, 2006, and her two brothers.

Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, with the Father James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.
