Crusaders halt Union

Union’s boys basketball team fell behind early and never caught up in a 77-41 District 9 Class A quarterfinal playoff loss to Elk County Catholic Friday in DuBois.

Cole Morris scored 11 points for the Golden Knights, who end the season with an overall record of 13-11.

Hannah Roth scored 13 points, had four steals and four assists to lead the First Baptist Christian School girls basketball team to a 44-10 playoff win over Evangel Heights Academy.

Lydia Roth added eight points and six steals, Shelby Poorman seven points and nine boards, Casey Hall 10 rebounds and Michaella Roth nine.
