Grove City Police9:30 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Bruce A. Pelletier, 20, of Harrisville struck a pickup truck at West Main and South Broad streets. Pelletier was cited for a red light violation. David M. Duddy, 34, of Volant, Lawrence County, was driving the pickup.State Police, ButlerMonday — Police charged Debra Lee Gilmore, 49, of Bruin with breaking into three unlocked vehicles Dec. 24 at Alan's Roadhouse on Main Street in Petrolia.Gilmore is accused of stealing a leather Coach purse and bottle of prescription medication from a car; a bottle of rum, camouflage gloves and an archery bow release from a pickup truck; and a throw blanket from a minivan.Police later interviewed Gilmore, who admitted to the thefts, according to court documents. In all, the value of the stolen property was $510.Gilmore is charged with three counts each of theft from a vehicle and receiving stolen property.11:28 p.m. Feb. 5 — Someone used a Saxonburg woman's bank debit card to withdraw $200 from an automated teller machine on Pittsburgh Street in Saxonburg.State Police, Mercer1:57 a.m., Sunday — Sean P. Canfield, 29, of Grove City was traveling west on Route 208 in Pine Township when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the eastbound lane, hitting a vehicle driven by Barry J. Beltz, 53, of New Castle in a head-n collision. Canfield was arrested and DUI charges are pending blood results.7:40 p.m. Friday — Police responded to a burglar alarm at 1471 Hendersonville Road, Sandy Lake Township, and found footprints leading away from the house. While there, a burglary was reported at the neighbor's house, 1450 Hendersonville Road. The homeowner there noticed a man hiding near a pine tree at his driveway. He fled on foot.State troopers from Mercer, Meadville and Franklin, and state police helicopters, were called in, and that man was caught in a church parking lot a quarter mile away. The suspect, who is not identified, is on parole for previous burglary charges. He was sent to the Mercer County Jail.
