Sarah J. Cornelius, 75, of Boyers passed away peacefully at her home at 7 a.m. Friday.

Sarah was born June 24, 1939, in Goff, Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Tiche and the late Sophia L. Szali Tiche.

She was a former member of the Boyers United Methodist Church, where she helped with the Meals on Wheels program.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Tina Marie Cornelius of Boyers and Teresa Ann Cornelius of Grove City; five sons, Jeffrey (Regina) Cornelius of Slippery Rock, James (Tammy) Cornelius of Delaware Water Gap, and Kevin Cornelius, Timothy Cornelius and Mark Cornelius, all of Boyers; and two grandchildren, Casey and Lauren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Bonnie) Leonard of Alto Lomo, Calif., and Lydia Tiche of Slippery Rock; two brothers, Samuel M. Tiche of Boyers and Michael J. Tiche of Hilliards; and several nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Cornelius, who passed away June 27, 1997, and one sister.
