Dorothy Shakley

Dorothy Shakley of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Hardwood Cafe, Penn Township.

The former Dorothy Voland was born March 28, 1925, in Butler. She married the late Raymond Shakley on May 16, 1946.

She has two children, Cynthia Musko of Butler and Candace Dellostretto of Cary, N.C. She also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Shakley was a lunchroom monitor at Northwest Elementary School for 25 years and an aide at Kiddie City for 23 years. She is a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
