Quilt guild hosts talk, trunk show

SARVER — Pieceful Patchers Quilt Guild will host a lecture and trunk show at 6:30 p.m. April 13 in Heide Hall at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 409 Sarver Road.

Debbie Mandy, a quilt designer and crafts teacher from Calico Carriage Designs, will present “No Diamonds/No ‘Y’ Seams, Old Quilts — New Methods.”

Giving circle sets first meeting

CRANBERRY TWP — The first meeting of Inspired Women Paying it Forward will be from 6 to 7 p.m. April 16 at the Double Tree by Hilton, 910 Sheraton Drive.

The new giving circle’s mission is to raise $10,000 per quarter. Membership is open to anyone who agrees to a quarterly donation of $100 to a voted-upon women’s charity.
