Slippery Rock University’s Paige Costantino reached the 100 career-goal milestone in The Rock’s 15-7 women’s lacrosse win over Shippensburg at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium on Saturday.

Costantino tallied six goals and added an assist to lead SRU’s effort.

Kaytlin Callaghan and Erin Wilcox both added three scores for The Rock (3-5, 1-2), while Jordan Wagner earned the win with five saves.

Track and Field

SRU’s Sam Taylor managed an effort of 46.59 meters that was good enough to grab first place in the women’s javelin at the Raleigh Relays.

The event included several Division I schools, including Duke, North Carolina, Rutgers and Wake Forest.

Taylor’s throw was also good for an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark.
