Carl and Betty Nanni

Carl and Betty Nanni of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Brick House.

Nanni married the former Betty Jesik on Feb. 20, 1965, at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.

They have five children, Michael Nanni of Butler, Gina Nanni O’Brien of New York, Ronni Nanni of Bridgeville, Teresa Peace of Kobe, Japan, and Diane Potochny of Butler.

They also have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Nanni is a retired steelworker.

Mrs. Nanni is a retired diabetes education nurse.

She is a member of the American Diabetes Association and the Western Pennsylvania Association of Diabetes Educators.

The Nannis are members of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
