Parsons, Greenawalt

Matthew and Carley Greenawalt

Carley Parsons and Matthew Greenawalt, both of Zelienople, were united in marriage June 7 at the White Barn in Prospect. The Rev. Robert Keplinger and the Rev. Tom Harmon officiated. A reception followed at the White Barn.

The bride is the daughter of David and Suzanne Parsons of Evans City. Parents of the bridegroom are Karen and Clair Greenawalt of Zelienople.

The honor attendant was Mallory Maine of Ellwood City. Bridesmaids included Pamela Krosel of Evans City, Kimberly Timmerman of Butler, Sarah Steele of Pittsburgh and Chelsie Walker of Utah.

Performing the duties of best man was Brian Greenawalt of Zelienople. Ushers included Justin Bittner of New Castle, Dale Weisz of Ellwood City, Justin Schoeffel of Evans City and Aaron Walker of Utah.

The ring bearer was Colton Lees of Evans City.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010 and a doctorate of physical therapy in 2012, both from Slippery Rock University.

She is employed by Allegheny Chesapeake Physical Therapy.

The bridegroom graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 2003. He graduated from Penn State University in 2007 and from Heartland Horseshoeing School in 2009.

He is a self-employed blacksmith.

Following a honeymoon trip to San Antonio, the couple is making their home in Zelienople.
