High school hosts arts event
Fine Arts & Beyond, a Butler School District showcase, is 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Butler Intermediate High School.
The FAB evening will feature a student art show; choral, string and jazz performances; raffles; and craft activities. Proceeds benefit the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation.
Dinner theater evening set
PROSPECT — Mystery’s Most Wanted will present an evening of comedy, mystery and dinner at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Atrium, 1031 New Castle Road.
Tickets for the dinner and “Robinhood Ain’t Looking So Good” are $50.
The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Portersville-Prospect.

Paranormal conference set
LYNDORA — The Butler Organization for Research of the Unexplained and Center for Unexplained Events will present the eighth annual Butler Paranormal Conference from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 25 at Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave.
The event is organized to talk about sightings, investigations and research on the paranormal. There will be multimedia displays, book signings, and vendor booths. Admission is $10.
Jennings hosts crayfish class
BRADY TWP — Nature Detectives: Crayfish Capers is 2 to 4 p.m. May 17 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528.
The Nature Detectives series is designed for families with children age 6 and older. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and expect to participate in an outdoor learning adventure, rain or shine.
