Officials clinic

The Butler County Sports Officials Association is looking to add umpires for the 2015 summer season.

Interested individuals must be at least 18 by June 1 this year. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.

An on-field clinic will be held at 3 p.m. May 3 at Kelly Automotive Park. Call Larry at 724-283-5739 for details.

Tennis Bounce

BUTLER TWP — The Butler Junior Tennis Association will hold its annual Tennis Bounce fund-raiser from 10 a.m. to noon May 30 at the Butler High School courts.

Early-bird registration is $25 and guarantees a T-shirt, snacks, drink and prize raffle. Registration is $30 after May 1.

This event is for youths in kindergarten through 12th grade. Proceeds benefit the Butler boys and girls tennis teams.
