Rocket baseball moves to 10-0

Josh Bowser drove in Jason Rockburn with the tying run and then scored the eventual winning run on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Lauster in the top of the seventh inning as the Slippery Rock High baseball team remained undefeated with a 6-3 region win over Conneaut Area on a blustery Wednesday afternoon.

Travis Lauster put the exclamation point on the win with a two-run home run later in the seventh.

The last three innings were played amid snow squalls.

Bowser had two doubles and Ricky Mineo picked up the win in relief for the Rockets (10-0, 4-0).
