A pair of losses Monday to Edinboro University ended the season for the Slippery Rock University softball team.

The Rock (15-23 overall, 12-17 in the PSAC-West) needed to sweep Edinboro to keep its season alive, but instead fell 11-3 in the first game and 8-1 in the nightcap.

Slippery Rock was scheduled to play a doubleheader against California (Pa.) University today, but those games were canceled.
