The WPIAL softball playoff pairings were released Thursday afternoon.

Here is a list of where Butler County teams will be headed in the first round.

In Quad-A, Seneca Valley will meet Fox Chapel at 5 p.m. Tuesday at North Allegheny.

In Class AAA, Mars will play South Fayette at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hampton. Knoch will travel to Latrobe for a 4 p.m. meeting with Yough.

Freeport will take on Carmichaels in Class AA action at 2 p.m. Wednesday at California (Pa.) University.

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic will meet Monessen at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Baldwin in Class A action.

Boys LacrosseMars will travel to Greensburg Central Catholic at 7 p.m. Wednesday in WPIAL Division II first-round playoff action.
