Marilynn and Jerry McElhinny

Jerry and Marilynn McElhinny of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage with a weekend of family activities including a barbecue at Concordia of Cranberry, a dinner at Harmony Inn and a bonfire at their daughter’s home.

McElhinny married the former Marilynn Richwalls on May 8, 1965, at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Wexford.

They have six children, Bonnie of Toronto, Kathleen of Santiago, Chile, Rita of Slippery Rock, Tammy of Gibsonia, Laura of Forward Township and Elaine of Richmond, Va.

They also have 13 grandchildren.

McElhinny is a farmer.

Mrs. McElhinny is a housewife.
