Dairy princess will be crowned

The Butler County Dairy Promotion Team will host the Butler County Dairy Princess pageant at 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422.

A “Milk Toast” with dairy treats will follow the pageant.

Old Union plans garage sale

MARS — Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, will have a name-your-price garage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

St. Peter’s hosts sale, free picnic

St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will have a charity thrift sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The church also will host a free community picnic Sunday.

All proceeds will benefit the Gaiser Addiction Center.
