A Daddy and Me painting class for Father’s Day will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. June 9 for ages 3 and older. Either parent can attend. Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host the course at the Alameda Park office. Cost is $15 per canvas. Call 724-284-5383 to register.

Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents “Visiting Van Gogh: Still Life, Basket of Apples” through July 6, “Teenie Harris Photographs: Cars” through Nov. 16, and “She Who Tells a Story: Women Photographers from Iran and the Arab World” May 30 to Sept. 28. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays with extended hours until 8 p.m. Thursdays.
