BUTLER TWP — Butler graduate and California (Pa.) University center fielder has been named third team NCAA Division II All-American this season.

Fennell hit .422 with seven homers, 12 doubles, right triples and 15 stolen bases for the Vulcans. He was 2-3 with one save in 26.1 innings pitched as well.

Also a first team Rawlings ABC all-region selection, Fennell is playing for the Edenton (N.C.) Steamers of the Coastal Plains League this summer.
