Vincent Feltz

Vincent P. “Buddy” Feltz, 57, of Prospect passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 4, 1957, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Thelma Sandusky Feltz.

He enjoyed education at Holy Trinity School, Serra High School, Robert Morris University and the community college in Monroeville. Buddy majored in business and culinary arts.

He managed his uncle's Patsy Riazzi's Restaurant and worked for 25 years for the diocese of Pittsburgh as a chef at the St. Anne's in Castle Shannon, the St. Anthony's in Monongahela and the St. Christopher's in Prospect.

Buddy loved cooking and spending time with his family and fiancee. He belonged to the Slovak club. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golfing and traveling. He cherished his Civil War, Marilyn Monroe and Three Stooges collections.

Vincent is survived by his brothers, the Rev. Joseph E. Feltz and Dennis M. Feltz; his fiancee, Susan Duffy; his nieces: Laura (Sean) Feltz Griffith, Mary (Eric) Feltz and Beth (Tony) Fleming; and seven grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, DJ Feltz.

FELTZ — Visitation for Vincent P. “Buddy” Feltz, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2015, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.Rosary will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. at the St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 229 N. Franklin St., Prospect, with his brother, the Rev. Joseph E. Feltz, officiating. All are invited to the mercy meal at the St. Christopher's following the Liturgy.Interment will be at noon Monday at the Corpus Christi Cemetery, Port Vue, Pa.Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Christopher Church, 229 N.
