Noah Wyle

LOS ANGELES — Noah Wyle and his wife welcomed a baby girl this week.

Wyle’s wife, actress Sara Wells, gave birth to Frances Harper Wyle on Monday, the actor’s spokesman said.

Mother and daughter are doing well, and Wyle was described as being “over the moon.”

Wyle and Wells married last summer at his Santa Barbara, Calif., ranch. Wyle has a son and daughter from his first marriage, to Tracy Warbin.

Wyle, who gained fame in the hit medical drama “ER,” stars in TNT’s “Falling Skies,” which begins its fifth and final season Sunday.

Wells’ TV credits include “Nip/Tuck” and “Californication.”

MONROE, Mich. — Stephen Colbert has temporarily taken over a public-access TV show in southeastern Michigan in an episode that featured rapper Eminem.

Colbert hosted the latest episode of “Only in Monroe,” which airs in the community of about 21,000 people. He talked with Detroit native Eminem in a lengthy segment, calling him by his given name, Marshall Mathers.

The Detroit Free Press reported the 41-minute episode was filmed Tuesday. It premiered at midnight Wednesday on local TV and was later posted on YouTube.

Program director Lance Sottile told the newspaper the show was “really happy” Colbert could fill in for the regular hosts.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tyler Hubbard of the country duo Florida Georgia Line has tied the knot.

A representative confirmed the Wednesday nuptials to Idaho native Hayley Stommel.

The Georgia-born singer and his wife, both 28, were married in an outdoor ceremony that also included Hubbard’s bandmate, Brian Kelley, as the best man.

Florida Georgia Line broke into stardom with its multiplatinum hit “Cruise.”
