St. Joseph taking class registration

CABOT — St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Preschool and Prekindergarten, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, is registering 3- and 4-year-old students.

The 3- and 4-year-old learners will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A prekindergarten class for children ages 4 and 5 will meet three times a week.

Osche reunion set for Fenelton

FENELTON — The annual Osche Reunion will be at 1 p.m. July 12 at Happy Hunters Sportsman’s Club, 676 Chicora-Fenelton Road.

Dinner will be at 4 p.m. This year’s theme is Thanksgiving dinner. Take a large tureen to share, towels for bingo and auction gifts. There will be games for children and adults.

Doll, teddy bear picnic planned

EVANS CITY — Register by Thursday at Evans City Public Library, 204 S. Jackson St., for a doll and teddy bear picnic set for 2 to 4 p.m. July 11.

The picnic is for children ages 5 to 12 and their favorite dolls. It will include refreshments, door prizes, favors, crafts and other activities.

The event will be sponsored by the Butler Doll Club and benefit the library.

Rettig reunion slated for July 12

The Adam Rettig Sr. 52nd annual family reunion will be at 2 p.m. July 12 at the Butler Memorial Park Rotary Shelter.

Take gifts for bingo prizes, a well-filled picnic basket and table service. Soft drinks, meat and chicken will be provided.

Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and followed by a business meeting.

EMLENTON — The 60th annual Gerwick Reunion will be at 1 p.m. July 12 at Hughes Park, College Street.

Meat and buns will be provided. Take a covered dish, table service and auction gifts for children age 12 and younger.

Train, truck, car models displayed

EMLENTON — The Knox Area Scale Modelers will sponsor a railroad and model car and truck display from noon to 5 p.m. July 11 and from noon to 4 p.m. July 12 at Donaldson Motors, 714 River Ave.

Zelienople library plans book sale

ZELIENOPLE — As part of the Horse Trading Days Festival, the Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., will have its annual used book sale.

A preview sale will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 15. The sale will continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 16 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17. Buyers can fill a provided bag from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18.

Library discards, donated books, DVDs and other items will be sold. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

The library will not accept used book donations before the sale. Hold any donations until after Aug. 1.
