At least now it looks possible.
Sorenstam conjured memories of the time when she was as dominant as Ochoa is now on Sunday, hitting every fairway and almost every green in a 66 that gave her a seven-shot victory in the Michelob Ultra Open with a tournament record 19-under 265.
INDIANAPOLIS — Qualifying and practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have been canceled for the day due to rain.Qualifying for positions 12-22 for drivers at the May 25 Indianapolis 500 was to be decided Sunday. Now those slots will be added to next Saturday's scheduled qualifying. It was the fourth day this month that speedway events were canceled or limited because of rain.
LOS ANGELES — A former associate of USC freshman guard O.J. Mayo claims the basketball star received thousands of dollars in cash and other gifts from an event promoter over four years that would violate NCAA rules, ESPN reported Sunday.Louis Johnson told ESPN's "Outside the Lines," that Rodney Guillory, a Los Angeles-based event promoter, gave Mayo about $30,000 and other benefits while he attended high school and during his sole season at USC. Mayo has decided to forgo his sophomore year and enter the NBA draft.
