Butler Police6 p.m. Thursday — Tanya J. Eaton, 40, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly tried to take $40 worth of merchandise from the Kmart in Pullman Square without paying.

State Police, Butler10:15 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Bobby J. Taylor, 41, of Roanoke, Va., and a tractor trailer driven by Mark A. Crawford, 43, of Kittanning collided at the intersection of Route 422 and Geibel Road in Summit Township. No one was injured.

State Police, Mercer4:33 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Abby N. Grossman, 17, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Todd A. Martin, 45, of Andover, Ohio, collided on Route 258 near Jervis Road in Liberty Township. No one was injured, and Grossman was cited for driving on roads laned for traffic.
