Bus reservations available to annual March for Life
Butler County residents can join the 46th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 18.
The Friday march commemorates the date the Supreme Court legalized abortion with its Roe v. Wade decision on Jan. 22, 1973, and “memorializes the nearly 60 million babies who have been aborted since then as well as their mothers and fathers who have suffered the pains of abortion.”
The theme of this year’s march is “Unique from Day One: Pro-Life is Pro-Science.”
Bus reservations are being accepted by the following bus captains: Scott Stickney, 724-481-1334, Middlesex Township; Bill Slusser, 724-772-7962, Cranberry Township; John Healy, 724-544-4118, Zelienople; John Hinterlang, 724-352-9384, Herman; Ed Hoyt, 724-283-9070, Butler city; Eric Campbell, 412-321-4823, North Catholic High School; and Nick Protos, 724-898-3322, Middlesex.
