Top Tier Federal Credit Union, which has two locations in Butler County, is renewing its scholarship program for 2024.

Each year, Top Tier awards a $1,000 scholarship to five students in Western Pennsylvania. To be eligible, applicants must be a member of the credit union and be enrolled in any post-secondary institution for the upcoming school year. Applicants must also maintain a QPA above 2.0, a grade average of at least “C“ or an 80% grade average.

Applications for the scholarship are available at Top Tier’s website or at any of Top Tier’s four branches, which include those in Butler and Cranberry.

The 2023 scholarship recipients were Molly Ellenberger, Brandi Young, Mikyla Metz, Bethany Jaquish and Karlee Stiver.
