Smock

Linda L. Smock, 82, of Chicora, formerly of Sarver, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at her residence.

Linda was born in Freeport on July 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Margaret (Lammay) and Hartley Armstrong.

Linda worked at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg for 40 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. Linda was most recently attending Trinity Reformed Church in Bradys Bend. She enjoyed spending time with her dog.

Linda is survived by her brother, Charles Armstrong of Clarion; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her beloved canine companion, Ho-Bo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Smock; her brother, Robert Armstrong; and her sister, Shirley Toy.

SMOCK — Per her wishes, visitation and services for Linda L. Smock, who died Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, are being held privately at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport.

Interment will follow at Freeport Cemetery.
