Cleveland-Cliffs Butler Works will have an open house Dec. 10.

The community open house will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10, at the UAW Local 3303 Hall, 112 Hollywood Drive in Butler.

The company is inviting the community and area residents to learn about the Butler Works Steelmaking facility and its project to upgrade steel slab reheat furnaces. The project is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations through the Industrial Demonstrations Program.
