Wisconsin man held on charges

EVANS CITY — A Wisconsin man is in Butler County Prison after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend's father shortly after Christmas.

Jordan M. Jung, 33, of Muskego, Wis., allegedly caused disturbances at a house on Railroad Street and at Baker's Backstreet Tavern on Jefferson Street, according to the criminal complaint.

Officers with the Evans City-Seven Fields Regional Police Department were dispatched to Railroad Street around 1:25 a.m. Monday where they talked to victim George Ripper.

Ripper told police that Jung had come into the house, appeared to be intoxicated and had assaulted him and chased him down the street before disappearing.

He had a bruise under his eye and blood on his nose and forehead, according to the complaint.

Officers also talked with a 911 caller from Baker's Backstreet Tavern who reported that Jung refused to leave the business, was fighting with patrons and was “not right in the head.”

After a short search he was located walking on West Main Street, wearing only a pair of green shorts and boots, and placed under arrest.

He faces a simple assault charge, two counts of disorderly conduct engaging in fighting, two counts of public drunkenness, two counts of harassment and one count of harassment for breaking the windshield of a car.

He is in the prison on $10,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in district court Tuesday.
