No one was injured in a recent drive-by shooting at the Pennsylvania American Water plant on Oneida Valley Road in Summit Township, company officials said.

At least one employee was working when the shooting took place around 9 p.m. Tuesday, but no one was injured, said company spokesman Gary Lobaugh.

A door was damaged, but no equipment used in water treatment was damaged and there was no disruption of service, he said. The company is working with state police.

“We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously,” he said.
