Knoch teen is finalist in contest
A Knoch High School junior is a finalist in a youth singing competition for the Pittsburgh region and will perform live on-stage on Monday night.
Brecken Farrell, 17, of Saxonburg is one of five students performing in a New Year’s Eve concert known as Highmark First Night Pittsburgh. Farrell is one of many students who entered an audition video into this year’s Williams Sing-Off competition, which is open to students in grades six through 12 who live within 150 miles of downtown Pittsburgh.
“I’m really happy to be a finalist and so excited to perform,” Farrell said.
