Eugenia “Jennie” Schultz
Eugenia “Jennie” Schultz, 96, of Butler died Wednesday evening at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Aug. 18, 1921, in Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas Swidzinski and Pauline (Smidth) Swidzinski.
Jennie was retired from the dietary department of Butler Memorial Hospital. Previously, she worked at Armco during World War II, Spaide Shirt Factory and Bobbie Brooks.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was a lifetime member of the Butler Moose Lodge.
Surviving are her children, Kenneth (Dolly) Schultz of Butler, David (Jody) Schultz of Butler, Judith (Bob) O'Neill of Florida, and Diane (William) Longstreth of Butler; eight grandchildren, Ronald (Erin) Schultz of Landenberg, Pa., Matthew (Jennifer) Schultz of Exton, Pa., Kristy (Chad) Zinkhann of Butler, David Schultz of Butler, Elizabeth (Tom) Baughman of Zelienople, Warren Schultz of Butler, Samantha Longstreth of Butler, and Nicole O'Neill of Florida; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joelle and Julia Schultz of Exton, Pa., Maggie and Emma Schultz of Landenberg, Pa., River Zinkhann of Butler, Edward Baughman of Zelienople, and Ajaidyn and Amani Balkasoon of Florida; four brothers, Adam, Louis, John and Carl Swidzinski, all of Butler; two sisters, Lucille Spohn of Maryland and Helen Dollman of Slippery Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and five brothers, Albert, Theodore, Stanley, Joseph and Frank Swidzinski.
SCHULTZ — Friends of Eugenia “Jennie” Schultz, who died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The Rev.
