Seneca Valley board set to meet Tuesday
JACKSON TWP — The architect working on the Evans City school project will attend Seneca Valley School District’s special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting, usually held Monday nights in the auditorium at the Intermediate High School, is moved due to the holiday weekend.
Eric DiTullio, board vice president, urged Evans City community members, who voiced concerns about the project at the board’s Aug. 13 meeting, to attend the meeting with the architect from CannonDesign.
The 79-year-old school, which holds kindergarten through sixth-grade pupils, has been a concern since a feasibility study was conducted in 2014. The project has been in progress since 2015, but only in April was CannonDesign announced as the architectural firm.
