Larry R. Jurysta

Larry R. Jurysta, 61, of Lyndora passed away on Monday at his residence.

He was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Butler to the late Carl C. Jurysta and the late Nellie R. (Sebock) Jurysta.

Larry was a graduate of Butler High School. He worked as a welder for Robinson Fans in Zelienople for over 30 years.

Larry was a member of American Legion Post 178 in Lyndora. He enjoyed stock car races, classic cars, model cars and football. He loved going for walks in city parks and Moraine State Park.

He is survived by his one sister, Rose Slupe of Butler; four brothers, Jerome Jurysta and his wife, Maryann, of Prospect, Harold Jurysta and his wife, Pat, of Butler, Ronald Jurysta and his wife, Barbara, of Butler, and Edward Jurysta and his wife, Harriet, of Butler; his companion, Donna Baccanti of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Carl Jurysta Jr., Martin Jurysta and Steve Jurysta.

JURYSTA — There will be no public visitation for Larry R. Jurysta, who died Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, as per his wishes. Private burial took place at Rose Hill Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
