Albert Henry “Grumpy” Bryner Jr.

Albert Henry “Grumpy” Bryner Jr., 62, of Evans City passed away Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born July 24, 1953, in Pittsburgh to the late Albert Henry Bryner Sr. and Viola (Elder) Bryner.

Grumpy was a 1972 graduate of Richland High School. He also attended Slippery Rock University.

Grumpy was self-employed as a carpenter and owner of AH Construction.

He was a member of the Westview Sportsman Club. Grumpy enjoyed wood crafting, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his brother, Bruce Bryner and his wife, Tina, of Evans City; three nieces; and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Stiscak.

BRYNER — Friends of Albert Henry “Grumpy” Bryner Jr., who died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Rombold of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church officiating. Burial will take place at the Greenlawn Burial Estates.Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
