John 'Jack' H. Robinson

John "Jack" H. Robinson, 70, of Center Township died Tuesday at his home.

He was born Jan. 28, 1938, in Isle near Prospect. He was a son of the late William D. and May E. Martsoff Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959, where he served as part of the Antarctic Support Activity. He was a member of the Critchlow-Hays American Legion Post 417 of Prospect.

He was a truck driver all of his life. He enjoyed being a mechanic and mowing grass.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his five children, Penny Robinson, Pat Isaac and John Robinson, all of North Carolina, Dan Robinson and his wife, Cindy, of Cranberry Township, and Brian Robinson and his wife, Gloria, of Chicora. He also is survived by four grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Robinson and his wife, Donna, of North Carolina, and Robert Robinson of Butler; and a sister, Mrs. Gene (Carol) Fehl of Prospect.

<B>ROBINSON —</B> Friends of John "Jack" H. Robinson, who died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. May 31 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prospect. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. that day at the church with burial in the church cemetery.Cremation services were provided by the<B> EDWARD L.
