Darlene M. Harbison, 59, of Frazer Township, passed away on Sept. 11, 2022, and was recently found Dec. 5, 2022.

Born June 25, 1963, in Butler, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Charlotte C. (Convery) Ruediger.

Darlene was a talented chef, who was most recently employed by The Meadows at Stonebrook in Wexford.

Darlene loved outdoor adventures, fishing, kayaking, motorcycle riding and camping. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and family. Darlene was a caring and funny soul, who will be greatly missed by all.

The Harbison family is tremendously thankful for the support and care shown to them.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer and her husband, Dennis Harbison, of East Brady, Danielle and her husband, Travis Schonauer, of Medina, Ohio; and her mother, Charlotte Ruediger of Herman.

Darlene was “Grammy” to her four grandchildren, Fallon Harbison, Brady Harbison, Kennedy Harbison and Grier Schonauer.

She is also survived by one sister, Elizabeth (Rick) Hoffman of Herman; two brothers, Robert Ruediger of Alamogordo, N.M., and Gerald (Stephanie) Ruediger of Converse, Texas; and a large extended family.

Darlene was preceded in death by her father.

HARBISON — A memorial Mass for Darlene M. Harbison, who died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler, with the Rev. Ward Stakem celebrating.

Her burial will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES in East Brady.

The Harbisons ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Buechele Funeral Home to support the family. Donations may be made directly to the funeral home through www.buechelefuneralhome.com.
