Helen M. Stewart
Helen M. Shelhammer Stewart, 82, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Manor, Glandorf, Ohio.
Born March 27, 1925, in Apollo, she was the daughter of Dan Shelhammer and Frances E. George.
She was a homemaker and had been employed in custodial work.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the former Cairo United Church of Christ in Ohio.
She played the organ, enjoyed country western music and fishing. She also worked with ceramics and liked to watch auto racing.
Surviving are two sons, Fred P. (Pam) Rieck of Waycross, Ga., and David J. Rieck of Cairo, Ohio; four stepsons, Daniel, Barr of Pennsylvania and Donald L. Jr., Daniel and Richard "Dickie" Stewart, all of West Liberty; a daughter, Linda (Bill) McCleland of Zelienople; two stepdaughters, Jacquelin Barr of Pennsylvania and Dortheia Stewart of West Liberty; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Robert (Colleen) Blystone of Gibsonia, Homer (Beverly) Blystone of Venus, Pa., and Richard Blystone of Valencia; two sisters, Harriet (Lewis) Hague of Portersville and Anna Hanna of Gibsonia; and two sisters-in-law, Martha Blystone of Tidioute and Sarah Blystone of Valencia.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, three sisters and two brothers.
