Power outages through out county
On Sunday morning, March 26, West Penn Power is reporting 4,145 customers in Butler County without power, down from almost 9,000 Saturday night.
Areas with the highest number of outages remaining are Butler Township with 603 customers, Penn with 391, Jackson with 312 and Slippery Rock Township with 255.
Other areas with over a hundred customers without power include Evans City and Adams, Brady, Clay, Donegal, Connoquenessing, Fairview, Forward, Jefferson, Marion and Winfield townships.
Central Electric Cooperative is reporting 1,128 customers without power in Franklin Township. Among other areas with multiple outages are Allegheny Township, 199; Clinton, 182; Marion, 170; and Worth, 137.
At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, as high winds battered Butler County, 8,977 customers were without power, according to West Penn Power.
At that time, the most widespread outage was reported in Butler city, with 3,297 customers in the dark. As of Sunday morning, all but 112 customers have had their power restored.
Across the state, 57,725 customers are without power, according to West Penn Power.
